On May 15, 2017, Winchester Area Voice of the Faithful will
celebrate its fifteenth year of continual meetings.  We started
out with great numbers and enthusiasm to right the wrongs that
had been perpetrated upon many innocent children, while
supporting the many dedicated priests who persevered in
difficult times.  We also worked diligently to effect necessary
changes to prevent future abuse.  After fifteen years, time has
taken its toll on our membership.  We are growing older and
have less stamina than we did in 2002.  Therefore, the small
core of faithful members still remaining has concluded that it is
time to discontinue our meetings.  Our anniversary meeting on
May 15, 2017 will be our farewell.  We would like to make a
final meaningful donation to St. Eulalia Parish at that time for
its support over these past fifteen years.  We hope everyone will
want to contribute to this effort.  You may make your check
payable to St. Eulalia and bring it with you on May 15th or mail
it to: WAVOTF St. Eulalia 50 Ridge St. Winchester, MA 01890
Checks will be presented collectively to the parish on the 15th.
While we are discontinuing our Monday evening meetings, we
intend to continue our annual “Cookout for Priests”.  This year
it will take place on Monday, June 5, at 6 p.m. in Manion Hall.
If you plan to attend, there will be sign-up sheets at the
anniversary meeting on May 15, or you may contact Clare
Keane at or 781-729-2752. We hope all
can attend our final anniversary meeting on May 15.  There will
be time for socializing over dessert and renewing acquaintances
with the many “old time” members we hope will attend.   May
we count on you for your help?
We thank you for your interest in the WAVOTF 2017 calendar. Our affiliate will cease
weekly meetings concluding with the May 15 meeting.  Our annual Potluck for Area
Priests will take place on June 5 at 6 p.m.  Please read the notice below.
